Plain English. What we collect, what we don't, and why.

Your answers stay on your device

When you fill out intake steps — names, dates, what happened — those answers are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device until you print. We don't receive them, don't store them on our servers, and don't transmit them anywhere.

After you print or download your documents, your answers are automatically cleared from the browser. This is intentional. We don't want sensitive family law details sitting around any longer than necessary.

What we do collect

If you create an account, we store your email address and subscription status in Firebase (Google's infrastructure). This is the minimum needed to let you sign back in and access documents you've paid for.

If you make a payment through Square, Square processes your card. We receive a payment confirmation — your payment ID, the plan you purchased, and the email you used — and we record that in our database so we can unlock your access. We never see or store your card number.

We log print events and payment events to an internal audit log. These records include your account ID, the document type, and a timestamp. They're retained for 90 days and are used only to investigate billing problems or abuse.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for anything except running this service. We don't have analytics trackers embedded in these pages.

Security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. API calls require a valid login token. We apply security headers to every page to reduce common web vulnerabilities.
