Heads up: Checking both "Emergency" and "Change an existing order" at the same time can create a mixed message for the court. Emergency orders are heard without the other side present — modification requests require notice and a full hearing. If you truly have an emergency, focus on that path first. You can address modification in a follow-up filing. Proceeding with both checked may result in the court denying emergency relief entirely, or splitting your motion into two separate hearings — one of which may be months away.
